The Samsung S7330 is basically a cut-down version of the Samsung Soul. The Soul is a great phone, so this is no bad thing. Although the Soul was a flagship phone at launch, these days it's available for around the £150 mark, so the S7330 is only going to be a good buy if it's significantly cheaper, and it's currently selling for a bit over £100, so it's worth looking at if money is tight.
The S7330 looks very much like the Soul, and is almost exactly the same size. The brushed stainless steel finish looks fantastic. It shares the high quality 16 million colour screen of the Soul, and uses the same touch navigation panel in addition to the numeric keypad that slides down. The phone includes a digital music player, a camera with autofocus and a flash, 3G video calling and an FM radio.
Economies have been made in the S7330 when compared with the Soul. The first thing to notice is that the camera has been reduced from 5 to 3 megapixels. The internal memory has been reduced from 100 MB to 30MB, but the S7330 can still accept microSD memory cards up to 8GB. HSDPA is present, but it supports a maximum download speed of 3.6 Mbps compared with the 7.2 Mbps of the Soul.
